Three types of teams accomplishied the goals of this project; the Collaborative Administrative Team, a Design Team for each of the selected content areas (health disparities and patient safety), and Production Teams for the learning objects and case studies. The table below explains the types of members, and the purpose of the teams.

Teams Members Purpose
Collaborative Administrative Team Dean or Associate Dean

Set policies and procedures for administrative, coordination, and over-arching issues such as legal issues and long-term use and sustainability of the NEAT products.

Determine content focus area for development of learning objects and case studies.

Design Teams
(one per content focus area)
Faculty from each institution with content area teaching responsibility/ expertise

Identify subtopics or/and learning challenges

Identify content experts for production of NEAT products

Review NEAT products

Pilot and evaluate NEAT products

Production Teams Hired content experts

NEAT Staff

Suggest learning objects and case studies to be developed

Review existing online teaching materials

Create learning objects and case studies for the content focus areas

Make necessary revisions
